LEGO® Brick Building and Robotics for Kids

LEGO® Mindstorms® EV3 Robotics

Ages 10 - 14  (some age exceptions may apply)

The Bricks 'n Bots robotics class uses the LEGO® Education curriculum to teach students how to build LEGO® models featuring working motors and sensors; program their models; and explore a series of cross-curricular, theme-based activities while developing their STEM skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, as well as language and literacy.

 

Students will work in teams to complete LEGO® Education's Space Challenge missions using a LEGO® Mindstorms® EV3 robot set and a netbook computer.  All equipment and materials will be provided and are for use in class only.

 

Summer camp class size limited to 9 students



  

SPACE CHALLENGE    


Blast into space with LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3! Students will be introduced to the world of STEM and robotics with the exciting new EV3 Space Challenge Missions.

Students will work with a very current and real-world theme – traveling to and living on Mars!  With the new EV3 Space Challenge Set & Activity Pack, students work as scientists and engineers as they progress through missions that put their creative problem solving skills to the test.
